Watermelon Banana Smoothie

Smoothies are great ways to incorporate healthy ingredients into your diet, while being the perfect drink for a hot summer day. This banana and watermelon smoothie is a refreshing and sweet beverage to start off your day or for a midday snack.

  • blender

Ingredients
  

  • 11/3 cups Cubed watermelon
  • 2 ea Large frozen bananas
  • cups 100% orange juice
  • ¼ cup Coconut water
  • 4~5 ea Basil leaves
  • tsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tsp Chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding the watermelon and bananas to the blender. 
    11/3 cups Cubed watermelon, 2 ea Large frozen bananas
    watermelon , banana and coconut water
  • Add coconut water and orange juice.
    ⅓ cups 100% orange juice, ¼ cup Coconut water
    watermelon , banana and orange juice
  • Add the remaining ingredients
    ⅛ tsp Freshly grated ginger, 2 tsp Chia seeds, 4~5 ea Basil leaves

  • Serve and enjoy!
    Watermelon Banana Smoothie

Notes

Add more basil and/or ginger if you prefer a more fragrant or peppery taste. You can also add extra chia seeds if you prefer a thicker mouthfeel. Also feel free to omit any of these ingredients if you want a more mellow taste or a smoother consistency. Blend until everything is broken down.
